148 VEHICLES NABBED ALONG NAROK-BOMET HIGHWAY FOR BEING UNWORTHY TO OPERATE WITHIN KENYAN ROADS

More than 148 Vehicles were nabbed along Narok-bomet highway during a major crackdown that was led by National Deputy director  disaster management unit Dr Duncan Ochieng, Riftvalley Regional  NTSA boss Joseph Gichohi with the aim to remove all unworthy vehicles which are operating along this highway to make sure they minimize accident especially this time Kenyans are heading to Christmas festival.

Speaking aduring the operation the Deputy director national disaster management unit Dr Duncan Ochieng say this operation will continue in all main highways since its known most of the accidents occur due to careless driving during Christmas festival and as the police department they must make sure vehicles operating this time are worthy for Kenyans to travel with them.
He said most of those vehicles nabbed their drivers have no driving licenses, most have interfered with the speed governors and also some vehicles have no insurance. He added that those nabbed will be arraigned in court and they will also not be allowed to operate in Kenyan roads until they follow what is required.

He called on Kenyans to be informing the police on the drivers driving carelessly.
