Seven people have been critically injured following a road accident that at Murathankari along Meru-Tharaka road today.
The injured were evacuated by Red Cross and taken to Kiirua Hospital where they are receiving medical treatment.
The rate of road accidents has been increasing on daily business with drivers being blamed for reckless driving while on the other hand, in some areas, drivers blame poor state of roads.
