Delle Ali ranked fourth valuable young player, martial tops

Dele Alli’s rise to prominence with Tottenham and England has been confirmed by the midfielder being named the world’s fourth best U21 player with Manchester United’s French forward Anthony Martial top of the list.

Alli is valued at £28.3m by the Soccerex report only two years after Tottenham paid £5m to sign him – was turning out for League One MK Dons a year ago, but has made a remarkable rise to prominence playing 58 times for club and country, including four appearances for England at the Euro 2016 finals only eight months after making his international debut for the national side.

Twenty year old Anthony Martial who joined United from Monaco for £36m last September topped the list of most valuable young players. His team-mate Marcus Rashford also earned a place in the top 10.

Martial impressed for United in his first season at Old Trafford, scoring 17 goals and providing nine assists for his team-mates.
