Drama unfolds at Naivasha market over methods of trade

Drama unfolds in Naivasha market as traders from the local open-air market clashed over the manner in which the hawkers conducted their businesses. the incident paralyzed activities in the busy market as the traders accused the hawkers of parading their second-hand clothes outside the market , barring the consumers from accessing and buying from the market, resulting in losses.

According to the trader’s chairperson, Alice Wangui, the area had seen an influx of hawkers from Nairobi and Nakuru, who operate along the road, a move she termed illegal.
