Kenya confirms first coronavirus case

Kenya today confirmed the first case of Coronavirus. The positive virus test was that of a female student who traveled in from the US via London stated Health Cabinet Secretary Mutahi Kagwe.

The CS thanked the patient who took herself to hospital immediately she displayed symptoms. She also gave names of all she came into contact with. lady who traveled back to the country and tested positive for coronavirus is in a good condition. He added the lady has normal body temperature and is behaving normally.

Despite this all schools will remain open, but all inter-school events have been cancelled. Also all visits to prisons have also been suspended for 30 days. He suspends all public gatherings and  directed PSVs to provide hand sanitizers for passengers.
