KIBWANA DARES KALONZO EXPEL HIM FROM WIPER

Makueni governor Kivutha Kibwana has dared Wiper to go ahead and eject him from the party if it finds him no longer useful. Kibwana says the party has written him numerous letters asking for his appearance before a disciplinary committee, including the latest requiring him to so by 30th July 2021. Kibwana says the party’s accusation that he supported a different candidate during the Kithuki/Kitise by-election is flimsy because an agreement between Wiper and his former Muungano party called for supporting of the two parties.

He says an accusation that he doesn’t pay monthly subscription does not hold as his funding of party activities means it is the party that owes him and not the other way round. The county chief has told the party to do as it wishes because he cannot risk his I’ll health traveling to Nairobi while doctors have confined him to rest after a surgery two months ago. He spoke when he hosted a delegation of kamba elders at his residence who paid him a courtesy call.
The elders, Thome wa Akamba, told Kibwana, who has shown interest in the presidency to escalate his campaigns to other parts of the nation. They hailed him as a tested leader owing to his public service career spanning many years. However, on whom the region will support, they said they will consult at the right time.
