George Kinoti the Director of Criminal Investigations is in the US for Federal Bureau Investigations (FBI) executive training at the National Executive Institute (NIE) for three weeks.
Kinoti is the only detective from Africa considered for the much sought after training. The other four attendees are from Canada and Australia. The first two weeks of the training will be held in Washington, while the final bit will take place in Glasgow. Participants will be taken through strategic leadership development and current affairs.
The Institute provides leadership development for bureau executives and heads of the largest law enforcement agencies in the United States and overseas. More than 1,000 law enforcement executives have graduated from the institute.
