News say that the Former First Lady Mama Lucy Kibaki has died today morning while undergoing treatment at a London Hospital.
President Uhuru Kenyatta has made the announcement saying that mama Lucy had been unwell for over a month.
” It is with deepest sense of sadness and loss that I have learnt of the ultimate death of the former First Lady, her Excellency Mrs. Lucy Kibaki. She passed away while undergoing treatment in Bupa Cromwell Hospital in London.
Her Excellency has been unwell for the last one month and has been receiving treatment here in Kenya and subsequently in the United Kingdom.” Read His Excellency, Uhuru Kenyatta’s message in a special announcement.
