Manchester United suffer 2nd consecutive defeat

The red devils suffered 1-0 in the hands of Feyenoord during their Europa League first game wihc makes it their second loss since 2016/2017 premier league kicked off having lost to Manchester City 2-1 last weekend.

The Red Devils made eight changes to the side beaten by Manchester City at the weekend, with only David De Gea, Eric Bailly and Paul Pogba keeping their places.

But in a drab encounter at De Kuip, they offered little in attack and were hit by a late sucker punch from Giovanni van Bronckhorst’s men.

But did any of United’s men impress? And who in particular left our man in the stands disappointed?

“In the second half you saw that Manchester United want to win with the tempo and the three substitutions, you sensed that they want to leave here with the win,” Feyenoord manager Giovanni van Bronckhorst said.

“At the right moment we scored the goal – a fantastic goal on the counter-attack.

“After that the spirit came in the team and the determination to be there for the last 15 minutes. We fought hard to get the result and after 90 minutes we did.”
