Mwingi Central Mp Gideon Mulyungi has recorded a statement at Mwingi police station claiming that his life is in danger.
Addressing journalists in Mwingi town, Mulyungi said that he is targeted by criminals revealing that he was attacked yesterday by about 30 hired goons armed with bows and arrows at Umoja petrol station while he was having a meet the people tour in Mwingi.
He said he identified the gang ring leader who is somebody well known to him and informed the police.
In addition, the MP has called for increased security vigilance and not let loose weapons in town.
