Governor Wycliffe Oparanya has stepped up Azimio la Umoja campaigns in Kakamega County as part of his wider efforts to consolidate Western region Support for bringing the country together as we go to the election year a move initiated by ODM leader Hon Raila Odinga.
The Governor was Speaking in Malava Sub County where he addressed two public rallies assuring the public that the campaign is aimed at uniting all tribes in the county and ensure equal representation in the Government.
The Governor who was accompanied by his Deputy H.E Prof Philip Kutima and nominated Senator Hon Naomi Shiyonga held a closed door meeting with Council of Elders from Malava before holding public rallies at Tande and Ingavira.
