Posta Ranger chairman John Tonui says he is not worried about the possibility of losing his team’ midfielder Duncan Otieno who has stated his desire to leave the club.
The Posta Rangers midfielder had a good season with the team but after just the first of his three – year deal, he stated that he wants to go back to AFC Leopards, the club he dumped before joining Rangers in mid January 2016.
Tonui admits Otieno was a great player for his team and adds that the club is prepared for his exit and has already identified players to sieve from as they look for a replacement, thougj he declined to name them.
“We are prepared for his exit and we are already in line to get a replacement for him. At the moment we have about four players we are looking at and with the help of the coach will be able to pick on one. I can’t reveal their names at the moment but we will communicate in due course.
“Otieno was a loyal servant for us and we hope for the best for him as he makes the move,” he said.
