Public and private sectors merge to work on Infrastructure Development Strategy

The public and private sectors have reviewed the Draft Strategic Plan that will transform infrastructure facilities in order to reduce the cost of doing business both locally and regionally.

The strategic plan is aimed at improving governance and technical skills by outlining the planned intervention that the Ministry of Infrastructure plans to undertake to deliver efficient physical infrastructure and services in the transport, housing, urban development and public works sector.

State Department for Infrastructure Principal Secretary, Julius Korir said that vision 2030 third medium-term plan (2018-2022) outlines the priority policies, programs and projects. It focuses on laying the foundation for national economic transformation. The speech was read on his behalf by Engineer Gitau Francis.
