Just a day after a meeting that the ODM leader Raila Odinga had in Nakuru, a section of leaders from Nyanza have expressed their hopes that the long awaited Raila’s presidency is at sight. For a decade the slogan of the opposition leader has been that of the Biblical Joshua in the grand exodus from Egypt.
Speaking in Alego Usonga at a function that brought the locals together at Boro Primary School where CDF cheques worth Sh33 million, the area MP Samuel Atandi said the time is ripe for the former prime minister. He added that the only thing that barred the former premier from the office was the support from the mountain.
He downplayed the bottom up economy model that is proposed by the William Ruto allied faction citing that the nation must first find the ways to create more resources.
