Ronaldo scores 4 goals as Portugal humiliate Lithuania

Juventus goal poacher Cristiano Ronaldo was in a class of his own scoring 4 out of 5 goals for his country as Portugal won 5-0 against Lithuania in their euro 2020qualifier clash. On the same breath, England recorded a 5-0 victory over Kosovo.

Cristiano Ronaldo took his international tally to 93 goals when he scored four times to give Portugal a 5-1 win away to Lithuania in their Euro 2020 qualifier on Tuesday.

Ronaldo scored an early penalty before Vytautas Andriuskevicius equalized for Lithuania.

Ronaldo’s 20-yard shot went in off the head of Lithuania goalkeeper Ernestas Setkus before scoring two more goals from Bernardo Silva passes.

Midfielder William Carvalho completed the rout in stoppage time as Portugal stayed second in Group B with eight points, five behind leaders Ukraine with one game in hand.

In other results England won 5-3 against Kosovo, the Czech Republic clinching a 3-0 victory over Montenegro, France winning 3-0 against Andorra while Turkey demolished Moldova 4-0.
