Torino knock City doors requesting for season with Joe Hart.

Torino have formally requested another year-long loan for Manchester City goalkeeper Joe Hart.

The England international was unceremoniously sent out to Italy by Pep Guardiola when the Spaniard took over at the Etihad in the summer.

Hart, who has made 29 Serie A appearances, has become a firm favourite during his time in Turin but was expected to seek a fresh challenge at the end of the season-long spell.

But now, according to Tuttosport, Torino have opened talks with City about retaining the keeper for another year.

However, with his contract set to expire in 2019, City know that his value will only dwindle during another season away from the club so they may decide they need to sell this summer.

That will come as bad news for Torino as it has been suggested that they would struggle to afford the transfer fee or full wages.
