US supports anti-graft war

Kenya loses KSH 800 billion to corruption annually, according to the United States Ambassador to Kenya, Kyle McCarter. He added that ironically this is the cost of President Uhuru Kenyatta’s Big Four development agenda.

The Ambassador was concerned that despite the renewed war on graft, Kenya continues losing billions of shillings. He urged for the fight against corruption not to end until the vice is conquered.

The Ambassador was speaking at Kenyatta University where he launched a campaign against Visa Fraud.

He urged the youths, especially university students, to join hands and demand accountability for taxpayer’s money, whose loss will only deny them a future.
