Manchester United star Zlatan Ibrahimovic has successfully won his libel case against a former Swedish athletics director.
Ulf Karlsson – who was in charge of track and field between 2001 and 2004 – was found guilty of aggravated libel against the legendary striker on Monday after intimating he used performance-enhancing substances during his storied career.

He made the remarks in April 2016 at a panel discussion regarding what he described as a sudden weight gain by the 35-year-old
The judge said: “The court’s opinion is that in the context of what was said Ulf Karlsson gave the impression that Zlatan was doping during his time at (Italian club) Juventus.”
Ibrahimovic signed for United in the summer and has gone on to flourish despite his advancing years.
