The funds will be allocated to the signalling, communications, automatic fare collection system and train operation systems of the rail.

“The project encompasses Signaling, Communication, Train Operating System, and Automated Level Crossings; an Automatic Fare Collection System with a fibre optic backbone; Civil Works; and ICT equipment like servers and redundant storage,” a post from the National Treasury X page read.
