KNUT executive members demand the removal of Sossion as Secretary-General

By Anne Macharia

There was drama this morning as a section of Kenya National Union of Teachers executive members stormed the KNUT headquarters demanding the removal of Wilson Sossion as Secretary-General

The members insist that the meeting that was convened to sack Sossion is still on despite a standing order by the labour court.

They further claim that Sossion should resign to pave way for other trade unionists seeking his position.

Yesterday, the controversial secretary-general claimed a plot to send him packing has been sponsored by the influential people in government who want him replaced by a gullible secretary-general.

This comes a few days after ODM leader Raila Odinga held talks with Sossion on the same.
