Kenyatta University Television has something to celebrate at just a few days after celebrating its first anniversary.
The newly launched television station emerged victorious in Teeniz Extreme awards in the category of the Teeniz Digital Station of the year.
The awards took place on 11th December 2016 at Gala.
Attended by over 5,000 people, KUTV was battling the trophy alongside other 12 media stations.
“Xtreem Awards wishes to express our heartfelt gratitude to Dr.Ezekiel Mutua, CEO Kenya Film Classification Board, for spearheading your team in push for positive content and for choosing to support Xtreem Awards, Madam Nelly Muruka, Director Kenya Film Classification for coming to encourage the youth on need for positive content consumption,” CEO Xtreem awards said.
The awards comprised of 76 categories. Kenyatta University (KU 99.9) FM’s Peter Pinchez was also lucky one as he was awarded the best County radio presenter of the year 2016.
Size 8, Gospel musician made a comeback in awards and clinched the female artist of the year.
