On 9th June 2025, three suspects were arrested during an anti-narcotics operation by National Police Service (NPS) officers in Kasarani area.

During the operation officers seized a large quantity of suspected narcotics, including 50kg of cannabis sativa (bhang), 30 hash-infused cookies, and 810 rolls of bhang.
