The Director of Public Prosecutions (DPP), Renson Ingonga joined the Head of Public Service, Mr. Felix Koskei, the leadership of the Salaries and Remuneration Commission (SRC), and chairpersons of various constitutional commissions and independent offices for the official launch of the SRC Strategic Plan 2025–2030 at the Kenyatta International Convention Centre (KICC), Nairobi.
“Today marks a significant milestone in our collective journey towards a fair, transparent and sustainable remuneration framework for Kenya’s public service,” Sammy Chepkwony, SRC Chairperson.
Speaking during the event, the Head of Public Service Felix Koskei commended the SRC for developing a forward-looking roadmap to guide public sector remuneration and performance over the next five years.
He urged the commission to implement the plan to enhance efficiency, productivity, and sustainability within the public service.
“The success of this plan depends on its effective execution. I call on the SRC to ensure the strategies outlined are fully implemented so that our public service continues to deliver value to the people of Kenya,” said Koskei.
He further highlighted the importance of continuous stakeholder engagement and public sensitization to foster understanding and ownership of the plan among key actors in the public sector.
The SRC Strategic Plan 2025–2030 provides a comprehensive framework aimed at strengthening equity, fairness and sustainability in remuneration and benefits across the public service.
