The Kenya National Examinations Council (KNEC) has issued clear guidelines on how candidates and stakeholders can access the 2025 Kenya Certificate of Secondary Education (KCSE) examination results following their official release.
According to KNEC, candidates can access their results online by visiting the official results portal at results.knec.ac.ke or by accessing the KNEC website and clicking on the KCSE Results tab.
To retrieve the results, candidates are required to enter their index number and at least one name as registered during the examination.
Users must also accept the privacy and access notice before proceeding to search for the results.
KNEC has emphasized that any results-related queries must be submitted through the heads of institutions within 30 days from the date of release of the results.
“All results queries must be lodged through the heads of institutions within 30 days after release of results .Queries lodged after 30 days will attract a fee,” stated KNEC.
The Council congratulated all candidates who sat the 2025 KCSE examination and reaffirmed its commitment to quality educational assessment and credible certification.
