The head of the Presidential Special Projects and Creative Economy Coordination Mr. Dennis Itumbi oversaw a meeting at the United Democratic Alliance(UDA) Party headquarters in Nairobi.
The main purpose of the meeting was to craft strategies for effectively communicating President William Ruto’s Kazi Bila Break (KBB) agenda using multiple media and grassroots platforms.
The Kazi Bila Break initiative is a campaign started by President Ruto that encourages continuous work and development, emphasizing productivity without unnecessary pauses.
The initiative is part of the broader Bottom-Up Economic Transformation Agenda (BETA), which aims to empower ordinary citizens through job creation, youth innovation, and economic inclusion.
“Itumbi, who was hosted by UDA Party Secretary General Senator Hassan Omar, led youthful strategic groups as they engaged the Party in political discussions on kick-starting the conversation that will build up to the 2027 election program,” read a tweet from the UDA Party’s official X account.
Apart from the discussions on the KBB initiatives, the meeting also covered strategies they would employ to win the pending by-elections.
“Also on the table for discussion were the pending by-elections, with the team laying strategies on how UDA Party will approach the mini-polls to ensure the party clinches victory,” continued UDA.
Key figures in attendance included Charles Karondo, Chairman of the Athi Water Works Development Agency, and Dr. Adrian Kamotho, Vice Chairman of the Party’s Internal Disputes Resolution Committee (IDRC), as well as various party directors.
According to the UDA official communication, the leaders also discussed and adopted innovative and disruptive political strategies to drive the Party’s agenda more effectively.
