Kenya has reaffirmed its dedication to creating a more efficient, investor-friendly, and business-enabling environment, as the country hosted the World Chambers Federation Africa Summit 2025 in Nairobi.
The Summit, which brought together delegates from over 70 countries, was officially opened with a renewed pledge to streamline business processes and remove barriers that hinder enterprise growth.
“We are streamlining business processes to foster a more efficient and investor-friendly environment where enterprises can thrive,” stated President Ruto.
Speaking during the opening ceremony, President William Ruto emphasized the government’s ongoing efforts to enhance the ease of doing business, particularly by engaging directly with entrepreneurs through platforms such as the Kenya National Chamber of Commerce and Industry (KNCCI).
“By putting our ears to the concerns of our entrepreneurs, via the Kenya National Chamber of Commerce and Industry, we are enhancing the ease of doing business in the country,” added the President.
The Summit serves as a powerful convening platform for chambers of commerce, government agencies, and the private sector to collaborate on strengthening trade, innovation and economic development across Africa and beyond.
Discussions at the Summit focused on digital transformation, intra-African trade, SME support, and investment climate reforms, with Kenya positioning itself as a gateway to opportunities on the continent.
