The Prime Cabinet Secretary and Cabinet Secretary for Foreign and Diaspora Affairs Dr. Musalia Mudavadi, held constructive bilateral discussions with H.E. Wang Yi, a distinguished Member of the 19th Central Committee of the Communist Party of China (CPC), State Councilor, and Minister for Foreign Affairs of the People’s Republic of China.
This significant meeting occurred in Building 12 at the Diaoyutai State Guesthouse in Beijing.
The focal point of the conversation centred on advancing the longstanding relations and strategic partnership between Kenya and China. Both leaders affirmed their joint commitment to expediting collaboration on crucial fronts, including infrastructure projects, addressing challenges posed by climate change, and boosting the trade partnership.
The talks highlighted the mutual dedication of both nations to nurturing a robust and multifaceted relationship, emphasizing cooperation in key areas of shared interest.
Earlier this month, Kenya reiterated a firm position on the One China Policy and the need to respect territorial integrity and non-interference in the domestic affairs of China.
