Kiambu Governor Ferdinand Waititu has faced criticism after his in-law to be appeared in the list of
shortlisted candidates for the position of chairperson of the Kiambu County Public Service Board
(KCPSB).
Herman Gitau Nyotu, was named among five shortlisted candidates for the position. Word went round
that Mr. Nyotu’s son is set to marry Waititu’s daughter this weekend 20th July 2019. However, when the
list was finally read out on Wednesday, Mr Nyotu’s name was missing after the criticism and disapproval
from some members of the county assembly.
The matter has not been officially spoken out by the county.
The wedding is set on Saturday 20th July 2019 at PCEA Evergreen in Runda, with a reception later at the Windsor Country Club.
This comes in after him, his wife and daughter are facing graft allegations.
