Tuju finds himself in the middle of vicious battle that’s basically between his two bosses. It remains to be seen how he will navigate the raging waters, as Kenya’s number 2 keeps coming at him with gloves totally off.
The Deputy President William Ruto has continually accused him of working for ODM leader Raila Odinga. Tuju has chosen not to directly engange only stating that his main concern is the actualization of President Uhuru Kenyatta’s Big Four Agenda.
Tuju’s woes began following the 9th March, 2018 handshake. He has been accused several times by the DP’s TangaTanga team of being partisan.
Matters came to a crescendo when a leaked tape purportedly revealed plans to ouster William Ruto. Tuju denied knowledge of the tape terming it a complete fabrication.
Tuju has also been accused by a section of Jubilee members of being partisan in decision-making. He has, however, maintained that he will not be cowed by people with whom he does not share views
