BBI REPORT, Baringo MCAS vow to pass report once it is tabled

A section of Baringo members of county assembly has vowed to pass the much-awaited Building Bridges Initiative (BBI) when it will be brought to the county assembly.

Addressing the press on Wednesday in Kabarnet, the MCAs led by minority leader Sam Lokales said once the initiative is released they will ensure the referendum is passed since it will bring sanity to  Kenyan politics.

On his part, Nelson Lotela, Silale MCA noted that he will support BBI if it supports devolution reiterating that they will rally behind the document even as the county awaits the release of the report.

Reacting to county assembly speaker David Kiplagat over the weekend during the Deputy President William Ruto visit in Marigat cited once the report is brought to the assembly, he will rally the house to shoot down the document.
