DrugLord jailed for three years

Nigerian DrugLord has been put behind bars for three years.

Emmanuel Peter Lovembe pleaded guilty to being in the country unlawfully.

He also accepted contravening an order that declared him a prohibited immigrant.

Lovembe had been deported from Kenya in 2013 following a presidential order.

Lovembe was arrested in Kayole, Nairobi, on September 29 after sneaking back into the country.

An application to deport and jail him in his homeland was declined by the Nairobi Chief Magistrate Daniel Ogembo.

Ruling the case, Judge Ogembo termed the nature of offence serious considering the current situation in the country in terms of security.

“The accused has proved that he does not respect the law,” Ogembo ruled.

He will now have to remain in Kenya jails for three years.
