Gachagua Reassures Nyahururu Residents, Promises Title Deeds

Deputy President Rigathi Gachagua has assured landowners of Maina Village, Nyahururu town, Laikipia West Constituency of the Government’s readiness to process title deeds for their pieces of land in the next six months.

Speaking on Monday when he addressed residents of the village, the DP said President William Ruto’s Administration is keen on ensuring they fully own their land and benefit from it.

“We are working on the title deeds for the residents here in Maina village because they have been asking for them for a long time. We want to ensure you have the title deeds in the next six months,” said the DP when he interacted with the locals on his development tour of the County.

On top of the vital documents, the DP said roads will be tarmacked to open up the village.

The DP also said the Government is working on dealing with the human-wildlife conflict in the area to avert more destruction to the residents.

“We want the people to enjoy the fruits of their labour in their farms without the fear of losing their investments to the wildlife here,” assured the DP.

Gachagua also reiterated the importance of the region’s unity behind President Ruto.

“President William Samoei Ruto and his Administration will address the land ownership matter as a priority for the families of Maina Village to start and live in dignity,” he said.
