About 200 members of the Maasai community living in Mwihoko, Githurai 45, Ruiru Sub-County, held a peaceful demonstration against eviction from land which is said to belong to the Kenya Defense Forces.
The Community members claim that they have lived on the land for about 30 years and have nowhere else to go. They are now appealing to the Government to give them only 50 acres of the land instead of expelling them.
