Kalonzo Leads Azimio Leaders In Condoling With Moi’s Family

Wiper party Leader Kalonzo Musyoka has led opposition leaders in condoling with the Moi family, following the death of Moi’s youngest daughter June.

Kalonzo in the company of ODM deputy party leader Wycliffe Oparanya, and DAP-K Party leader Eugene Wamalwa visited Moi’s family at Kabarnet Gardens on Friday afternoon to console the family.

Other leaders in Kalonzo’s delegation include the leader of the Usawa Kwa Wote party Mwangi Wa Iria, Machakos Senator Muthama Agnes, and EALA MP Kennedy Musyoka.

Sharing via his X handle, Kalonzo has remembered June as a vibrant person who was full of life.

To my brothers, SenatorMoi Gideon and Raymond Moi, and family, the most valuable heritage is that of brother/sisterhood and we are here to assure you of our unwavering support at this most difficult time. May God rest June’s soul in eternal peace,” condoled the wiper Party leader.

June was pronounced dead on Thursday with the family confirming her death in her residence in Nairobi. Read More: June Chebet, Moi’s Daughter, Dead At 60

After her death announcement, Kalonzo penned a message to former Baringo County Senator Gideon Moi and his entire family.

“I was deeply saddened to learn of the sudden passing on of our sister June Chebet. Please know that you are in my prayers and thoughts at this most difficult and trying time for your family,” read the statement in part.

“May our Good Lord give you the necessary fortitude to bear the loss of our sister June, and may He rest her soul in everlasting peace. Pauline and the rest of the family have joined me in conveying this message,” said Kalonzo referring to his wife Pauline and his family.

June’s family has yet to disclose the cause of her death.
