The Kenya National Examination Council (KNEC) has declined to extend the registration of KCPE and KPSEA examinations for the year 2024. They insist the deadline will remain to be 29th March.
The council has urged parents to ensure that their children are registered and data accurately captured.”Please note that the portal for registration of this year’s candidates closes on 29th March, one week from now and there will be no extension of the deadline,” KNEC said.
Furthermore, the council underscored that late registration requests would not be accommodated, and there would be no provision for changing photographs for KCSE candidates once the registration period concludes.
“Please visit your child’s school and ensure he/she is registered and the details captured accurately. Do not let your child miss the exam,” the council urged. KNEC had earlier announced the opening of the portal on 29th January 2024, for registration of the 2024 KCSE examination, KCSE Qualifying Test, KPSEA, and KILEA candidates.
“The portal for registration of 2024 KCSE examination, KCSE Qualifying Test, KPSEA, and KILEA candidates was opened on 29th January 2024 and will be PROMPTLY closed on 29th March 2024,” read the announcement.
