2018 Africa Gold Cup Kick Off Times Confirmed

Rugby Africa has confirmed the dates and timings for the 2018 Africa Gold Cup which will serve as the African qualifiers  for the 2019 Rugby World cup in Japan. Zimbabwe which is under the tutelage of former SpringBoks Coach Peter De Villier will kick start its campaign on June 16th against Morocco with defending champions Namibia taking on Uganda the same day.

Kenya will begin its campaign on 23rd June away to Morocco before taking on Zimbabwe on 30th June. The Home boys will welcome Neighbor’s Uganda on 7th July at the R.F.U.E.A grounds as Tunisia host Zimbabwe. Kenya will play Tunisia on 11th August before taking on Namibia on 18th August.

The Kenyan team which is currently going through its paces under the current technical bench of backs coach Charles Ngovi, Forwards Coach Dominique Habimana ,Conditioning Coach Richard Ochieng, Physio Chris Makachia and Team Manager Simiyu Wangila Finished Second Last season and will be keen to secure their spot in the 2019 Global showpiece after missing out in 2015 Courtesy of a 1 point deficit.
