Three people were killed on Wednesday when a matatu collided with a trailer near Kyumbi Market on the Nairobi–Mombasa highway. Several other people were injured and are in hospital. On Thursday, a speeding motorist was killed when his pick-up crashed head-on with a lorry on the Kyumbi–Machakos road.
