A boda boda rider was shot dead and his motorcycle stolen in an attack at Githurai 44 area, Nairobi, on Monday.
Police said the man was killed by his passenger after trying to prevent the robbery.His body was found by a road long after the incident had taken place.
Police launched a search for the attacker.Four suspected robbers were lynched in the area in January and their bodies burned.
A month later, a boda boda operator was killed and five others seriously injured.Eighteen new motorcycles were stolen in the area in a span of two months.
