Senator Kindiki declares Tharaka Nithi won’t support NASA

Tharaka Nithi Senator Kithure Kindiki has said residents will not support NASA, despite opposition rallies in the county. The Senate majority leader on Saturday also cautioned politicians holding rallies in the area to be mature and respectful. “They should not abuse me. I’m the senator of this county. I have neither gone to Kisumu to abuse ODM leader Raila Odinga nor have I gone to Bungoma to abuse Ford Kenya leader Moses Wetang’ula,” Kindiki said.

He spoke in Gatunga where he met Gakama Boda Boda Sacco members.

The senator said the visit by the four NASA leaders Raila, Kalonzo Musyoka of Wiper, ANC’s Musalia Mudavadi and Wetang’ula was intended to popularise their outfit and seek votes.

Kindiki said NASA leaders they do not have a development agenda. “When Raila refused to concede defeat and became the Prime Minister, he never stepped in Tharaka Nithi. How come he is now coming here simply because he wants votes?” he said. Kindiki said Raila will never become President, because he has “never learned the ropes of leadership”.
