Fired up Joho records statement with police, confirms Kibera Thursday rally

Mombasa Governor, Hassan Joho has today recorded a statement with police over Kenya Certificate of Secondary Education (KCSE) certificate forgery.

After recording a statement with the DCI  Joho told excited supporters he will hold a rally in Kibra on Thursday to “tell Uhuru the truth”.

On Tuesday defended his D- in KCSE saying he struggled through school and was not as privileged as President Uhuru Kenyatta.

“We told you that after Coast tours, we will take the fight to the door step. Tomorrow we are in Kibra near their homes,” he told his supporters on Wednesday.

At police headquarters, Joho was accompanied by ODM leaders including Siaya Senator and lawyer James Orengo, woman representative Mishi Mboko, Kilifi Governor Amason Kingi and secretary general Agnes Zani (Nominated Senator).

NASA will stand with Joho

Lawyer James Orengo said the National Super Alliance will stand by Joho’s side regardless of threats from the government.

“We must stand with Joho. We will not allow Jubilee to stamp on him. We will do all within our might to protect Joho. At the police station it was pure propaganda,” he said.

Orengo, who is Siaya Senator, assured supporters that the coalition will win in August.

“We will deal with them. Mombasa, don’t worry, we will win. Whoever touches Joho touches Raila and Kenya. We have a multitude of lawyers to protect Joho,” he said.
