Tom Mboya Primary school has confirmed that Governor Hassan Ali Joho was a pupil at the school back in the 80’s. and scored 286 out of 600 marks in 1988 KCPE
This follows a visit by Ethics and Anti-Corruption Commission as probe for Joho’s Kenya Certificate of Secondary Education continues
According to the letter to EACC, signed by the Head Teacher Bab J. Suleiman, Hassan Joho was admitted in the school in the year 1980 under the guardianship of his father.
“According to the school Admission Register, Hassan Ali joined Tom Mboya on 07/01/1980 and was admitted in Std 1A, being under the guardianship of his father Hassan of P.O BOX 83674 Mombasa. His Admission number was TOM 2722/80,” read the letter seen by KUTV in part.
According to the letter, Hassan Joho scored 286 marks out of 600 marks after sitting for Kenya Certificate of Primary Education (KCPE) back in the year 1998, index number 19010/019.
