Taita Taveta MP Naomi Shaban decamp back to Jubilee

Taita Taveta MP Naomi Shaban has re-entered Jubilee house barely three days after quitting the party.

The Taita Member of Parliament had shifted to National Super Alliance (NASA) to defend her seat on Wiper ticket.

Not Jubilee

Naomi Shaban had announced her resignation from the Jubilee Party noting that unavoidable circumstances forced her to take the decision.

“I will no longer be vying for the Taveta constituency seat under the Jubilee Party umbrella,” said Shaban in a letter to the party secretariat.

“I wish Jubilee Party all the best in the upcoming election,” she said announced earlier.

And now

Taita Taveta MP Naomi Shaban has made a U turn.

Just days after quitting Jubilee Party over alleged frustrations, Shaban has knocked back.

Shaban will thus take part in Jubilee Party primaries slated for April 21 where she will face youthful politician Mike Banton for the parliamentary seat.

According to her allies, Shaban and the Jubilee Party leadership reached a decision after fruitful consultations Monday.
