21 Al Shabaab killed in Somalia by KDF

The Kenya Defense Forces have killed 21 Al-Shabaab militants in Dobley area, Somalia.The troop is said to have come under attack from the terrorists as they traveled from Dobley to Tabda yesterday.

Those killed include a junior level Commander, Salad Bart who is believed to have been in-charge of the group.No casualties on the Kenyan side as report says.

“We recovered 17 AK 47 rifles, five rocket propelled grenades, two rocket launchers and a number of bullets,” KDF spokesman said.

KDF killed 34  Al-Shabaab militants  on March 20th, in two separate incidents in Somalia and two of their soldiers were killed in an ambush.

In addition, the KDF killed 21 of the insurgents in the southern town of Afmadow in the ambush in which the two soldiers died.
