Youngest Dj: DJ Arch Jnr makes the Guinness World Records

After two unsuccessful attempts, the five-year old has finally broken the record on his third try.

The first time he could not play a full hour set when he was three-years old. Second attempt was not approved because of the venue which was at soccer stadium in Pretoria at a MC Donald’s U/14 soccer tournament.

During the month of June 2017, His manager Keitumetse Maleka and father Glen Hlongwane discretely tried their final attempt at a Pub in Cosmo City, known as Platinum Lounge.

He played for a crowd of about 100 people for a duration of an hour and triumphed over Itsuki Morita from Japan who broke the record during early 2017 at age 6 and 114 days.

“AJ is a very young individual who is a extremely talented DJ, we are proud of him and very excited about his achievement. I believe he has already reached a professional peak for being a DJ and will keep harnessing his skills as he develops.

“Glen has been a very supportive father, He only wants the best for his child’s education and future endeavors,” said Maleka.

The little boy’s father, Glen Hlongwane told TshisaLIVE they received the letter informing them of the great news on Wednesday and that his name was uploaded onto the website.

“I was so excited and so was Oratilwe when I told him. He was very excited although I don’t think he actually understands how big a deal this is. I asked him what I should get him to celebrate, he said ‘cupcakes’,” Glen said.
