President Uhuru Kenyatta will address the 5th Devolution Conference 2018 through a video link from Nairobi.

The President was expected to officially open the three day conference in Kakamega County but skipped the event citing bad weather.

The Big Four Agenda together with cash crunch in the counties will take center stage at the conference that is being attended by over 6,000 delegates among them senators, members of parliament and members of county assembly.

The conference will also take stock of the achievements of devolved functions so far and discuss how well county and national governments can work to make it a success.
