Former Harambee Stars Coach dies after long battle with illness

Former Harambee stars head coach Henri Michel has died at the age of 70, after a long battle with illness.

Michel was appointed Harambee stars head coach in august 2012 ,but left after only 4 months after falling out with football governing body (FKF) chiefs after his refusal to grace the 2012 CECAFA Senior Challenge Cup in Uganda.

The former France International coached several national teams, which include Cameroon, Morocco, Tunisia, Ivory Coast, Equatorial Guinea and France u21 team. At club level he coached Raja Casablanca, Zamalek, and Mamelodi Sundowns.
