Nairobi County has been ranked as the worst performing county in a survey report released on May 15th 2017 research firm TIFA. The survey which focused on three major counties; Nairobi, Mombasa and Kisumu which placed Nairobi Governor Mike Sonko at the tail. Kisumu emerged as the top county with an aggregate of a 56% which is a C+. Nairobi County trailed with a D+ of 44 points.
Among the key elements that were factored before getting the final score included street lighting, access to citizen services delivered by county governments, trade, education among other issues. The report was released by Trends and Insight For Africa, a full market research company offering market, social and sports research.
It emerged that access to food among citizens is one of the critical issues facing many homesteads in the county.
