Occasionally, during Madaraka day people gather in different places to celebrate this historical day but with little concerns on orphans, who starve with little or no food.
Today the light of hope showered the faces of student orphans of Pillars of Hope Children’s Home in Noonkopir ward Kajiado East constituency, after they were visited by Joyce Kanchori,the mother to Area MCA Daniel Kanchori among other visitors of charity who gave them food and drinks among other goodies.
Additionally, Mama Joyce Kanchori gave out Ksh 10,000 to help the orphanage home offset the electricity bill that has escalated.
According to our reporter,Kevin Okello,the Director and Founder of this home, Moses Muchika narrated about the progress and his service of charity to the society.
Some of the teachers who offer their services here have imploringly called for the support of every person to help these orphans realize their future.
To this great care and service to orphans, bravo to all who show concern and call upon every person to help the orphans.
