Quack doctor James Mugo Ndichu alias Mugo wa Wairimu is set to appear in court today following his arrest yesterday at his cousins home in Gachie, Kiambu county.
Mugo wa Wairimu was once again exposed by NTV two weeks ago for illegally operating a pharmacy and a medical laboratory without registration and a license from the Kenya Medical Laboratory and Technologists Board. In addition, the investigative story revealed that the quack doctor had resumed sedating female patients and sexually assaulting them.
He has since been on the run for the last two weeks until yesterday when he was arrested by officers from the Flying Squad Unit and detained at the Pangani police station until today when his case is expected to be heard.
