‘President of single mothers’ Akothee wows in Valentine show thrilling performance

Controversial artist popularly known as Madam Boss Akothee on Sunday publicly declared that she is the ‘President’ of Single mothers in Kenya.

The Mother of five made the declaration during the much hyped and successful Valentine beach party show she performed at Papa Remo beach in Watamu.

She made the declaration after singing a song for Single mothers her being among them but who has made it in life despite being single.

To her she wants to be a role model and an aspiration to single mothers who feel oppressed or lonely in life due to their status.

During the Valentine beach party that is becoming a major tourism attraction in Watamu and Malindi Madam Boss thrilled fans with her attire that exposed her lower part of the body and the unique and enticing dancing styles that left many yearning for more.

She at one time ordered security including her personal guards to stop harassing fans who were getting close to the stage forcing them to jam near her .

She came into the stage dressed in a white short dress and exhibited her full energy to sing and dance that excited both the local and foreign tourists who had flocked to Papa Remo beach to have a glimpse of the celebrated artist.

For nearly two hours Akothe sang and danced throughout and seemed not to be tired despite the Coastal heat.

To the surprise of many Madam Boss was being watched by her parents his father and mother who had joined her in the live performance.

Akothe told fans that even though many know him for her ‘crazy behaviors’ she was proud to have ‘rich parents who were among those at the beach party.

“Many of you know me for doing lots of dirty things but I would like to show you my parents who are here with me

Her mother revealed that Akothe was a third born in the family from Migori and inherited the music talent from the father.

Both parents were excited to be part of those present to witness the show in Watamu that attracted both foreign and local tourists.

Mwende Macharia the Queen of Waves from Radio Maisha together with Mzazi Willy M Tuva of Radio Citizen were the Emcees in the event organized by Roberto Lenzi the owner of Paparemo beach party, Seven islands and Krystal Bay resorts.

Others who performed include Popular Kenyan Singer Nyota Ndogo together with Upcoming artists among them Luke Lize.

DJ Masha Akother’s personal DJ rocked the party with his classical and entertaining music.

He said such beach parties and other events should be organized to promote talent and tourism industry in the Coastal region.
